When I was younger, a friend and I would load up his truck with fuzzy navels, and drive around to rate Christmas lights. (Don't think about that statement too much.) By the end of the night we were driving past houses with a single candle in the window yelling "SCROOGE!"

We probably could have saved a lot of gas if we had only had access to Christmas Maps. The only catch I had was when I searched for lights, my area does not yet have any in the list. And once the results came back with zero, it completely cleared my search selections, which means that every time I tried to tweak my search options, I was starting over from scratch. But the site is new, and no doubt will be upgrading as they go along.

But if you want more of a Christmas experience beyond lights, this is still your place. According to the FAQs:

we also show listings for Christmas pageants and plays as well as for local businesses who wish to offer a discount to Christmas light seekers. In addition, you can listen to music, watch holiday movies, play games, send an ecard and many more things. Check the sidebar to the left, we're always adding new features.

So while it's just starting out, this site has a lot of potential for being a cool way to find that event or sight that will put you in the holiday spirit.
